Rehearsal Dinner Recommendations

I'm having my wedding at the Old Mill and am looking for a nice place to have the Rehearsal Dinner that's not too far. Ideally I would like a private or semi-private room but nothing too fancy, even a pub would be nice. We love wine and interesting beers so a place with either would be great.

Does anyone know of a good spot around the west end of Toronto?

    There are lots of great restaurants in the Bloor West / Kingsway area!

    Rocco's Plum Tomato and Just Greek are a couple of good spots. I'd also recommend searching "bloor west" and/or "kingsway" on Chowhound.

    There is a really nice italian restaurant right at the corner of royal york and bloor - literally! It is on the north west corner right across from the subway. the food is decent and the prices are fair and it's really nice inside. Sorry i forget the name though.
