Hi all! I thought it might be fun to start an instagram hashtag for us August brides that are counting down the days. Tag all your wedding related pictures with #augustknotbride happy hastaging!!!

Can I ask a question??? What does the hashtag do?? I have wanted to ask someone for a while now... but I honestly have NO clue and it makes me feel old hahahah I'm only 29!!!

So hastags are used on twitter and instagram, sometimes people use them on facebook, but they don't work there, so it's silly. So basically the hastag is like a link to a group, so if you were to hastag something in twitter or instagram, it will pull up everything that has been hastaged with that same hastage, so example, if you hastag your wedding related posts on instagram with #augustknotbride, if you click on it (after you post it) you'll be able to see all pictures anyone has ever posted with that hastag.

Oh my gosh, that is kinda cool, totally makes sense why people love hashtags to me now... I'll be on top of that... when I start taking pix!!! I don't want to show anyone who is coming anything from the wedding yet though!!!
