Try the "Parish Finder" on the Diocese of Dallas website.

    http://www.cathdal.org/pages/parish-finder-new

That should at least show you the outside of the church, and then maybe you can go to the specific church's website to see if they have pictures of the interior. However, keep in mind that many Catholic churches in the area require membership of at least one year, so you may want to call and ask before you decide.

This is where we are getting married in June.
On the website there is a slideshow of the Church grounds. The problem that you will run into at St. Rita is that you have to be a member for a certain period of time (I think 6 months) prior to your wedding date. Since you only have four months, I'm worried that this may also hold true for most Catholic Churches in the area. Regardless, good luck in your Church search.
Are you looking for something in particular in terms of the sanctuary, chapel, grounds, or just looking for an attractive location for pictures?

If you want just a little outside of Dallas try Elizabeth Ann Seton in Keller. If you do a Google search for images you should be able to get pics of a specific church you want.

That may be difficult to do since most of them require you to be a member for at least 6 months...  As pp said, try searching contacting the churches on cathdal.org.  I think the Cathedral downtown does not require you to be a member, but they book up really fast and have higher fees for non-members.  I don't recall the price right now, but you might ask.

Also, if you are out of town and not a member you may want to look into that. There are a lot of Catholic churches that require you to be a member for x amount of time.

Also... is your FI's family here or your family?  They can possible be your "member status".  I know several churches that allow the children of members to get married in that church.

Also, if the church you normally attend is not part of the Dallas Parish, you technically have to get permission from the bishop of your parish.  The priest didn't make us do it but that doesn't mean that other priests will be that lenient.

<div>i'm getting married at st. rita too! i love it. it's where i grew up going to school and everything. if you like st. rita, i think that they allow others to marry without joining (it's in the wedding packet) you can even have you home priest preside. the issue will be whether or not your date is open</div>

We just got married at the Cathedral and are not members.  They do not require it.  We did have t have a letter from our home parish allowing us to be married there, as well as our liturgical records sent.  They have a lot of hoops to jump through, but it was beautiful...

I want to say that the Cathedral and maybe one other church in Dallas are the only ones I know of that don't have a member requirement...

Unless you are moving to the area soon, for the most part the Catholic Church doesn't allow "destination" weddings, though family in the area would solve that problem as a PP said. My aunt did that in Chicago with my grandparent's parish.

But please...don't choose a Church based on pictures. It's not a wedding venue and most parishes will be PISSED if you treat them like one, so tread carefully. Also, be aware of the other requirements, FOCCUS test, Engaged Encounter, maybe NFP, etc.

St. Thomas Aquinas does not require membership, but it books up fast for this reason.

    Good luck!

Actually they do--we go there occasionally and I just checked the bulletin. Maybe it is a new change
