Easter Fail

I have been wanting to make a point to go to mass more at the church we are getting married in, so I told my FI that we were going to make a point to go for Easter and he agreed and invited his mom too. I checked the website for the time, and even tried calling, since it didn't look like the site had been updated for awhile, but never got a hold of anyone.

So FI, my future MIL and I got all dressed up and got to the church just in time to see everyone leaving the service. We missed the entire thing.

Sigh.

Anyone else have any Easter or Sunday fails themselves?

    I hear ya! We went to church yesterday, doubled checked the time of the mass online, everything said 5:30. We get there..there's a bunch of people pulling on locked doors trying to get in but to no avail! The website had the wrong time! We ended up having to go back at 8:30..put a slight kink in plans. lol

    So here comes the crazy part...............
    When we got to the service last night and the priest was igniting the flame, as the entire congregation watched...his sleeve flew into the fire and his robe almost went up in flames! All you heard were gasps! Then, when they were coming in and lighting peoples candles, the church was pitch black and an older woman fell down and screamed as she reached out to light her candle....it was like keystone cops there last night! lol
