wow that's pretty crazy. this woman might have be mentally unstable for fabricating such thing..she did fool her FI too, and not like he was in on it..she might have much deeper issues to work out. but that really sucks for the vendors that fell for her crap.

I hope karma is a b*tch for that woman.  I also hope for a quicky divorce and 100% custody for the soon-to-be ex-husband.

Awe, that is a sad and disturbing story.  Unbelievable - to fake out your husband like that too. She should not be in custody of a child!

Ugh!  I agree with Mgoss.  I enjoyed how she contacted the newspaper about "legal consequences" for running the article.

That poor, poor man and their child! And the kind-hearted, generous people who donated!! I try not to wish ill on people and having had cancer in my family, it's a horrible thing to go through...but if anyone ever deserved a bout of karmically caused cancer...urgh.

The greed and lack of common decency of some people really amazes me some times.

I completely agree with one of comments on the article: "Maybe this woman should be made to work at a Cancer Treatment Center for free, as part of her punishment, for the rest of her life. She thought it was okay to say she had AAML, so she might as well see for herself, what these patients are going through each & every day"

I watched my grandma die of cancer and it was the most horrible experience of my life. Karma will get her, I hope in ten folds....
