Venue at Dock 580 brides - transportation?

Hello Columbus Brides - Happy New Year!

Time for me to get cracking on my wedding and start working on the details!  Question for anyone who has / or is getting married at Dock 580...

I'm assuming since there is not a bridal room most people get ready in their hotel room.  Then what?  Chill in a car outside while everyone is being seated?  Please help me with ideas.  I hate to shell out a lot of cash for a limo that me and my BMs will be in for 20 minutes....

Wedding date is 9/1/12.  Also would love to hear experiences regarding smith brothers weddings.  Heard some negative feedback on here about Steve, but luckily we have had no issues.  Any food that is particularly good here?

    You could maybe ask them what brides typically do. They've hosted a lot of weddings so they should have some ideas!

    there's actually a very small "parlor room " in the womens bathroom! not sure if this helps!

    I'm getting married at The Loft, however I'm wondering about transportation too.  Thinking we might just got w/a limo b/c we will be taking pictures downtown prior to the wedding.  

    Don't worry about Steve...I was questioning if we made the right choice b/c he was so hard to get a hold of, and not very friendly,  however once Molly came into the picture all of those thoughts disappeared. :)

    I had my wedding at the Loft and I had the best experience. The entire staff was amazing and the flow worked great. My bridal party got ready at the Hampton Inn and we did a first look. We had the Bexley Beat drive us around and take pictures then drop us off with our stuff at the venue. We did our touch ups in the small bridal room. I would recommend just getting a hotel room and finding transportation over to the wedding! If it's in the summer you could get a pedi cab to drive you? That could be fun!
