Crinny Question

Hi ladies
I am trying to decide if I want to rent a crinoline slip from my bridal boutique for I think $75 or if I want to buy one from eBay or something. Are all crinoline petticoats the same or do they vary? I see a ton on eBay for cheaper than my boutique but I don't want to buy the wrong thing and then still have to come out of the cash for the rental. Here is a pic of my dress without crinoline just so you can have an idea of what I need the crinoline to go with. All help is welcome.

    I bought one from the dress shop. I don't like it, but it makes it easier to walk in my dress, so I'll deal. Mine is very simple and thin and it was $85 to purchase. A more voluminous crinny would not look good with my dress - maybe the cheaper ones you are seeing are the thin ones. Do you remember what the one was like at the dress shop?

    I don't remember I just know that it was hot and it made the pick ups in the dress stand up instead of flop down like they are in the picture. I took this picture before the crinoline was brought out and I didn't get a picture with it. I hope when I go for my fitting I will have enough time to order one since I don't remember what kind I need. :(

    Im going to buy one...though I dying mine hot pink..lol..I found a couple on Craigslist for cheap.

    Lol sheshe! I hate the crinny cause it is HOT but love the way it make the dress look!

    You and me both that sucka is hot like fire but it really adds to the dress. I am already a super hot person so adding the crinoline is surely gonna make things worse. i need a personal fanner for the day lol I already contacted my vendors to tell them to have the air cranking or else I am going to be one hot cranky bride.
