I'm going dress shopping today!!!!!!! Wish me luck!

I have no clue what kind of dress I want. I think I'm going full poofy princess...but I want to try on a couple different styles to make sure I'm not crazy!! :)

    OH MY GOSH! I went to David's Bridal in Nashua (I've read stories about alterations being a problem there so I told myself I wouldn't go through them for that..) and I FOUND THE DRESS!!!!!!

    I loved EVERY dress I tried on (all 8 or 9 of them) and they were all great. I ended up buying a princess dress, but not as poofy as I had thought I was going for. It is ivory and has a sweetheart neckline and beading on the top and then the beading continues down the dress and kind of gets less and less. AND it has a beautiful train and I got a long veil that has a similar beading along the edge. It is just more than perfect!

    The best part was the dress I tried on was not on sale on the ticket (ended up being 200 dollars off when we brought it to the front) AND I took home the dress that I tried on. It was never worn before and it was just perfect!

    I had a new girl help me there and she was absolutely wonderful. She really knew what I was looking for. The experience was great. I didn't even think I was going to end up with a dress today!!! :)

    My cousin took all of the pictures. I'll see if I can get any from her. If not I can take some pictures of the dress at least and get those up! :)

    Congrats, best check ever!

    Best piece of advise these lovely ladies gave me, don't look at any other dresses for at least 2 weeks so you don't second guess your choice.

    I think I might go to Occasions Bridal in Portsmouth. My FMIL said that they do a great job with alterations and bend over backwards to accommodate you. I'm open to suggestions though so if anyone knows of a good place to get alterations done in the Portsmouth area, let me know!
