There were a bunch of little things that were wrong in the email...like our wine choices, they said that we didn't pick the types of beer that we wanted at the bar (yes, we did!), the salad course is slightly different than what we oringally picked out, etc.  I'm slightly annoyed that there were so many errors, but at least it's nothing major that can't be easily fixed. I think my blood pressure just rose rapidly and I had a wave of nausea when I realized that yes, I'm getting married in slightly over <strong>1 month</strong> and the fact that there's still a million details to wrap up LOL!  I honestly don't know where the past 14 months have gone!

  FI's cousin is getting married 9/7.  We're leaving Rochester to head back to our hometown (3 hour drive) on 9/6.  We're coming back to Rochester on 9/8, then flying out to California 9/9-9/14.  I have a conference in CA, FI is tagging along because we have frequent flyer points and it was only an extra $250 to add him as a guest for the conference (to share my room + all meals included).  So, basically he gets to hang out in Monterrey, CA and I have to sit in seminars all day and talk science LOL.

  
  

  This email also came while I'm trying to finish compiling my data to take to this conference. Plus, if I win an award at the conference I have to give a talk.  Which means I also have to prepare a seminar talk that I may or may not have to give.

  I got a similar email from my venue last week and had a similar reaction.  The good news is that the freakout was followed by a wave of calm.....this is happening....I've planned it the best I could....now, let it be........I'm trying to be more zen-like.
