    I've been sick since Thursday, but I read the first two Hunger Games books and started on the third!

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?
    Highly recommend Hunger Games if you haven't read them already. Also, Heaven is For Real is very interesting.

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately?
    I've really enjoyed Psalm 100 lately.

    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning?
    Probably dress shopping. I hated picking out STD's and invites and I hated dealing with head counts and I hated just about everything leading up to the actual day besides dress shopping, haha!

    What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
    Peanut butter chocolate. (Dairy free, of course)

    If you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be?
    A happy camper. H is going to be an unhappy camper :)

    What are you having for dinner tonight?
    Enchilada's!

    Are you on Pinterest? If so, what's your favorite project/recipe/idea you've seen on there lately? Any plans to attempt it soon?
    I'm really excited to try some cookie recipes for the Halloween party we're going to in two weeks!

    How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or out of the ordinary? It was good! We went for a drive to a beautiful state park on Friday to look at the Fall leaves and went to dinner. Our friends came. Saturday after I taught dance, we went to my cousin's 11th birthday party. Sunday was Bible study, church and hanging out watching football/cleaning. 

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share? I just read the Bible everyday for Year of the Bible... But that is definitely interesting! 

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately? Galatians 5:22- "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning? Everything! Haha. 

    What is your favorite ice cream flavor? All of them! haha again. I love cookie dough... And cake batter from Coldstone.

    If you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be? Not dressing up, although I probably should dress up at school for the parade with my students- any ideas for a quick/easy costume?

    What are you having for dinner tonight? Already had it. H made fish and corn.

    Are you on Pinterest? Nope. If so, what's your favorite project/recipe/idea you've seen on there lately? Any plans to attempt it soon?

    How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or out of the ordinary? It was crazy busy! A good friend got married, we had engagements pics, I worked, we went on a date, and a whole bunch of stuff I'm not remembering! 

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share? Sun Stand Still by Steven Furtick. A must read for Christians. Other than that just books for class. 

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately? The story of Joshua has been particularly captivating for me. 

    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning? Ummmm not sure. I'm not really enjoying wedding planning. We have a long engagement and I'm ready for it to be done! 

    What is your favorite ice cream flavor? No thanks, please pass the cheesecake.

    If you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be? I'm going to be a hippie, FI is going to be a mime and we're going as "Peace & Quiet"

    How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or out of the ordinary?
    Yes! On Saturday, we had our first (in-house) swim meet of the year--I was both coaching and competing. My little guys did great! On Sunday, FI and I attended our new small group for the first time. It was so good!

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?
    Mmm...no. Just school stuff. I read the Hunger Games trilogy last year, and loved them!

    So far, it's been engagement pics (still waiting for them!) and getting our photographer booked!

    Don't know yet! Have to think of something appropriate for the pool deck...

    It was good!  H and I went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday.  We had a groupon for two pumpkins, two entries to the corn maze, two ears of roasted corn and two caramel apples.  It was a great time!

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?
    I just finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo  and really enjoyed it.  I need to read the rest of the series.

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately?
    Yeah, about that...I haven't been doing any kind of Bible study, worship...nada.  Anyone have a good Bible study rec?

    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning?
    Tastings!  That and how involved H was.  He was really interested in the tuxes, the guest book, the ceremony, the music, the unity candle.  In fact, he found and purchased our unity candle by himself when I was in Europe.  He helped with pretty much everything.  Definitely not a "typical" groom.

    What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
    Depends on the day, but generally coffee or most forms of chocolate.

    If you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be?
    NA

    What are you having for dinner tonight?
    I had pan fried trout that my dad caught, fried potatoes from my parents' garden, and salad.  my parents invited me for dinner :-)

    I am.  I haven't been on lately.  I should go play and cheer myself up.

    Busy. My two nieces (6 and 2 1/2) spent the night with us Friday night and I took them to the park and out to lunch on Saturday. Then took them to my grnadma's and visited with her for a couple of hours before going home to cook supper. THen Sunday was church that morning and night and then out to dinner with DH's parents.

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?
    Not really, to busy with school work.

    Psalms 37:4- Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

    Dress shopping. I found the exact modern modest dress I was looking for.

    Chocolate or Strawberry

    NA

    Not sure. Usually on Tuesday's my DH fends for himself since I leave for class at 5:30 and he doesn't get home until 8 and I won't get home until 10.

    How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or out of the ordinary?
    It was relaxing.  We walked to breakfast Saturday morning, and then just chilled the rest of the day.  It was great, especially after travelling from one coast to the other for 2 weeks.  Sunday was church, a little bit of rest, and then AWANA with my hilarious Sparks.

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?
    "Let Me Be a Woman" by Elisabeth Elliott (widow of Jim Elliott- End of the Spear).  She wrote the book as letters to her daughter for her wedding.  It was great!  

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately?
    Jeremiah 29:11-- reminding me that God is in total control and knows exactly what He's doing and why, even if I'm no so sure.  :)

    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning?
    I enjoyed the "picking stuff" part...dress, flowers, invitations, decorations, food, etc.  I did NOT enjoy putting it all together.  I still want to know where my fairy godmother went off to.

    What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
    Mint Chocolate Chip

    If you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be?
    I don't think we're dressing up.  I should probably ask the "Fall Fest" coordinator at church about that.

    I'm reading Simon Wisenthal's "The Sunflower" for my Holocaust class. It's a very interesting read!

    My weekend was good thanks. Nothing big happened but still a good weekend!

    I  have just finished reading "Now you're speakingmy language" by Gary Chapman. I recommend that book to all married and soon to be married couples!

    My favourite bible verse is Psalms 121 but I have been reading Romans 12:1-21

    I enjoyed everything! Even the stuff I thought would be really tedious (ex. seating arrangements) was not that bad!

    Lots of wedding planning!  We finished registering at BBB, had food tasting, ordered bridesmaid dresses, and started on the invitation wording/design. 

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?
    I had a very busy week last week culminating in a meeting on Thursday, then on Thursday evening I relaxed and read an entire book.  It was by Karen Whitmeyer, I have no idea what the title was, but it was pretty good and exactly what I needed to do to relax.

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately?
    My Bible study has been studying Psalms, especially the various forms they take.  I don't have a specific verse, though.


    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning?
    Food tasting was amazing!

    not.

    Phillipians 4:19. My God will supply all my needs --- why? because DH doesn't have a job and my job doesn't cover our bills. God is truely supplying for our needs.

    creating all the fun stuff myself.

    I'm not dressing up (at least I have no plans to right now)

    How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or out of the ordinary? I spent some time relaxing with the husband, went out to a movie with some friends, went to church, and did some cooking and grading (I'm a teacher).

    Have you read anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?  Mostly just the books I am reading with the kids in school lately-- meaning poetry and Antigone. I wish I had time to read something on my own. 

    On a related note, what's your favorite bible verse lately?  The pastor at the church we just started attending is working through Ephesians, which is one of my favorites and great to hear every Sunday.

    What is/was your favorite part of wedding planning?  Pretty much everything other than looking for the venue at the beginning was really great and easy for us. 

    What is your favorite ice cream flavor?  Chocolate chip cookie dough any day of the week. 

    If you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be?  Not dressing up this year. 

    What are you having for dinner tonight?  We had lasagna and garlic rolls.

    Yes, much better now.  I could barely get out of bed on Friday evening and Saturday, but by Sunday afternoon I was starting to feel a bit better.  The pain is mostly gone now.  This is the 2nd time in 5 months that this has happened so I need to do something about it.  I'm going to see if I can go to the physical therapist that helped me when I hurt my ankle.

    How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun or out of the ordinary?
    Busy! I had the Big/Little Retreat for my Christian sorority Kappa Phi on Friday night. Then we got up at 5:30 on Saturday morning to go do Race for the Cure. (Btw, we stayed up until about 3 AM doing activities, etc. So I just never went to sleep lol) Then I drove 2 hours home...then crashed when I got to FI's house, because he wasn't there to keep me up until going to bed that night (which was my plan but he was out doing work stuff). Then Sunday I had my bridal shower, which was fun. Not many people showed up, but it was still pretty fun. I got LOTS of tupperware haha. And my two MOH's got me a bunch of lace/thong underwear as gag gifts, because FI and I have both chosen to remain pure until we're married. So they thought they'd embarrass me by getting me that stuff. I feel bad though because I'll probably never wear the thongs hahah. Just doesn't sound comfortable to me.

    Not really. Just college stuff. =/ Blah.
