SHOULD I REGISTER?

Hello, My fiance and I are having a DW in Mexico and are asking for no gifts...there presence is enough. Should we still register for those that can't make it and/or those who want to still purchase something? We feel weird registering but then asking for no gifts (if they can make it or not). Advice anyone? Thanks!

We did the same thing. We asked for no gifts, but did do a small registry as I know some of our friends and family wanted to get us something anyway. We registered mainly for things that would need replacing - towels, a sheet set and I think that was about it. We combined 2 houses into 1 and didn't need anything really, but we figured towels and such are always needed. We also ended up with a lot of cheques, which we also didn't want, but I won't complain about that either.

I would still do at least one registry because people would expect it. It is really a curtousy for your guests. Its pretty fun too once you go!

As PPs posted, I would still do a small one. Some guests are going to do gifts regardless and you're making it A LOT easier on them if you do one.
