Need help with flowers!

I am having a August 2012 wedding. I would like to have bright summer flowers to use. My colors for the wedding are Malibu (Blue) and Watermelon (hot pink) (DB colors).
What flowers would look the best? I am thinking Pnk flowers would be the best. But, I'm not sure. I would like to have a bouquet with mostlt pink flowers, but also some other colors. I think my BM's would look best with more pink flowers since their dresses are malibu.

Any thoughts?

i think peonies are out of season in august??? i like the idea of pinks though. gerbers? (i lover gerbers and theyre year round)

Peonie are out of season in August. You might be able to find them from Holland, but it will be the very end of their stock. Though I certainly love the scent of peonies.

There are couple different types of flowers and ideas you can consider. You could do something very simple such as mixing pink and blue hydrangeas together and using only that type, or you can look into some more funky summer flowers. If you're looking for a more free-form, wildflower bouquet, try pink coxcomb, blue ageratum, or pink Sweet William(dianthus).

The more traditional flowers that most people will recognize are the large gerbera daisies, which come in a variety of pink shades, pink asiatic lilies, orchids, lisianthus, etc.
