Coastal Bachelorette Party

I'm moving to NC next week and planning to have my bachelorette party there. I'll be living near Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville but don't mind travelling (BMs will be flying in).  I'm looking for a weekend at the beach, margaritas, etc. A pretty laid -back event. 

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

    Blockade Runner Wrightsville Beach NC
    Marriott Carolina Beach NC

    Carolina Beach is going to be less expensive than Wrightsville (pretty much anywhere you go), but it is less crowded.

    Wrightsville Beach is more expensive and more crowded, lots of college age kids there.  I would say that it has prettier beaches and better shopping also.

    I work at Shell Island Resort on Wrightsville...let me know your dates and maybe I can help you out! Or you can call the resort m-f 9-5 and ask for Meagan. You will love it we have all oceanfront suites, and there are bars on the island plus downtown Wilmington. I've seen alot of bachelorette girls come and have a blast!

    I love Myrtle Beach and/or North Myrtle--they are two towns right beside each other in SC but its not too far from Fayetteville.  I am going there for my bach party and staying in my MOH's beach house. There is so much to do but it is crowded in the summmer but LOTS of shopping and night life.  If you go to Wrightsville Beach not far is MayFaire (i hoped i spelled that right) a really neat little shop community where ppl live above stores like Ann Taylor Loft, Banna Republic. I spent may summers at Wrightsville Beach (v).

    I HTHs good luck with the move.  My mom grew up not far from Fayetteville in Dublin, NC home of Houstons Peanuts yummy!! Also not far from there you have White Lake, Lu Mill Winery and Duplin Winery. I hope this will give you a few things to check out while you are in NC.
