Make-up/ Bridal hair rates and logistics

Hi there-
I am contacting various places getting quotes on make-up/bridal hair rates.  I am wondering what everyone else is spending.  How much is too much? 

I am not having anyone standing up with me, so I am the only one needing services.  I know that some places would rather work on a whole bridal party instead of one person.  I just did not know what everyone else was normally budgeting and/or paying for this service.

    I'm having my hair done (veil and flower placed) at my normal salon (Amato Salon in Tinley Park). My trial was $86 and the day of it $120 I think?

    I'm having airbrush make done by Maris of Cynthia Sally. My trial was $85 and day of is $130 for me. You have to book with 3-4 other people and each person (ie BM, mom, etc.) is $85.

    My normal stylist (contact info in my bio) came to the hotel and did my hair, 3 of my bridesmaids and my mom.  My trial was free (done at her salon) and she charged $100 for me and $60 each for my BMs and mom.  My makeup artist also came to the hotel (free trial, she came to the hair salon on the day of my hair trial) and charged $65 for me and $40 for each of my BMs and mom.  My MUA didn't airbrush, though.

    Kim Nather is an airbrush MUA.  I don't think she requires any minimums.  www.beautybybrush.com

    I'm in the same boat as you with no bridal party and had a hard time finding people who would travel to just do my hair and makeup.

    I think I am just going to go to my new regular salon. It's only a few blocks from my hotel and I can get get my hair and makeup done for under $200.

    Holly Kasprisin http://www.chicagobridalhairandmakeup.com  is doing both my hair and makeup. She didn't have a minimum.
