Babettes in Bridgeville

Hello PIttsburgh Brides!

I am from PIttsburgh (as is half of my bridal party) but now living in Baltimore and getting married in Deep Creek,MD!  I am considering useing Babettes in Bridgeville for Bridesmaid dresses.  What is your experience with them?

    I went there in HS from prom and homecoming dresses, but that was 10 years ago. They were always nice enough, but I have no bridal experience. Is there a specific reason you want to use them? I think there are some not so fantastic reviews out there if you Google.

    I haven't heard great things about them either, although I've never been there.
     
    If you are from the Bridgeville area, maybe check out CK Bridal in Oakdale. Its only about 15 min away near Robinson. That's where I bought my wedding and bridesmaids dresses. I had a great experience both times I went. Sarah and Connie are wonderful, and typically you are the only appointment during your slot so it's very personalized.

    There are a lot of great salons in the area, so you shouldn't have a problem finding one that has what you want if Babettes does not work out.

    Price is a big issue wiht one of my bridesmaids - her daughter is a jr. bridesmaid (and most of the jr. dresses are as much as the maids) so I am trying to find the best option.  I am actually living in Baltimore but will be in the PIttsburgh area, and dresses are less $ out there.  I found a local salon offering a great price for my gown in Baltimore, but they have not been flexible wiht my maids.  I actually like MB Bride in Greensburg.....from past experience, although that is quite a drive from Bridgeville where my parents live.  I'm a Pittsburgher at heart and by origin.

    I have to say I have had great luck so far with MB Bride. I got most of my prom dresses there, and now my wedding dress + BMs, and flower girls. My BM dresses were priced resonably, however my flowergirls dress cost just as much as the BMs. GL!

    What is your budget for BM/Jr BM dresses? Mine at CK were $140, which I thought was reasonable.

    If you don't find anything at a salon that is within your budget, have you thought about going the online route? I have a friend who got her BM dresses at Target online. I'm not sure how much they were, but I can't imagine they were overly expensive. They were plain, but all of the girls bought a sash that was a different color which really made the dresses pop.
