Decorating the Interior of 108 Budleigh

So it's getting close now....only 64 days to go!  Wooohoooo!!

I'm curious for the 108 Budleigh brides, how are you decorating the interior of 108 Budeleigh?  I plan on having lots and lots of candles throughout, on anything that will stand still.  I really want to create a very romantic evening.  I'm just not sure hot to decorate the grande staircase....thoughts??

    I feel the same way OBX!  I have no idea what to do with the decoration.  I was looking at some of the pictures on their website for inspiration.  There was one where someone placed a bunch of candles in square holders in front of the round mirror on the "buffet" tables.  I definitely want to do that.  I think some sort of draping on the stairs but there's so much space to cover!

    I also think I want paper lanterns out on the terrace.

    We did the large lanterns hanging from the outside terrace with smaller ikea lanterns on all the four tables we had out there.  I thought it looked great... unfortunately, no one really spent any time outside (it was a bit humid on July 1st though).

    Inside, we opted for mostly candle light w/votives on all the mantles and other furniture they have around and very little other decor besides the centerpieces. 

    The nice thing about Budleigh is that it really does look nice on its own...

    Daniel & Kate Pullen photographed another wedding at 108 Budleigh a few days before ours that I thought looked really nice without doing too much (but still had enough color to make it their own):

    I just marked some candle "lanterns" that I really like from Ikea and mats to go underneath them on the outside tables.

    I was just going to rent some large paper lanterns to hang from the rafters out there.  Shindigs rents them for $3 each.  I want orange :)

    for the inside though, I really think we are just going to go with candles mainly.  I'm thinking blue table cloths and green napkins

    @ Kristin---thank you so much for your post!  I too agree that 108 is gorgeous enough to stand on it's own and I really like the idea of soft candlelight throughout, so maybe it's best to just stick with that :)

    I would LOVE to know where the bride in the Daniel Pullen link, got those starfish hair pins!!  I am using starfish throughout and absolutely love those!!!!

    @ Keb---I love your colors!  The blues and greens will look great :)  I am also going to hang some paper lanters outside....I found some to but for only $1.50 and I am getting orange and teal ones, so if you are interested in the orange ones when I am done, just let me know.  It's one less thing to rent and you could also sell them to someone else down the line :)

    Definitely want the Orange ones!!  How many do  you have?  Like I said previously, I will be there 9/20.  I bet Bonnie would hold them if I asked...its only what four or five days after your wedding?

    I'm sure Bonnie would hold them but if not, I can always leave them at the front desk of your rental company so you can pick them up when you check in.

    And btw....I went back to the site and they are actually $1.05 so even better!

    Do you think I should buy the light and light them up or just let them hang on their own?  I kinda think on their own would be just fine....what do you think?

    Hmmm... not sure.  Are there already lights out there?  I think I read somewhere that there are plugs up in the rafters out there, but I could be wrong.  I think I'm putting candles out there on some small tables so maybe the lights wouldn't be necessary...How many do you think you are getting of the orange?

    That's a good question.....I am going down Aug 13th-14th for my hair trial so I will go look at 108 when I am there and let you know.  Sound good?

    HELP!  does anyone know the girl getting married on september 15 of this year? i met her at the wedding expo and was interested in getting in touch with her since my wedding will be the day after hers. Also any advice for someone to marry us? (that isnt so expensive)
