Restaurant wedding reception

Does anyone have any recommendation on moderately inexpensive restaurants that are in downtown Chicago for a wedding reception? There will be about forty of us total.

    My son looked into multiple restaurants and found Quartino's to be one of the best deals in terms of cost and great food.

    Try Pazzo's 311 S Wacker, it's the best deal in the city and the planner there Faye is wonderful! It was actually featured recently of Four Weddings and it was the winning wedding. My daughter is getting married there in September.

    I looked into Carnivale and thought it was a good deal, depends on if you like the decor though.

    We had ours at Rose Angeli's in Lincoln Park.  They were absolutely wonderful to work with, everyone raved about the food, and it was very reasonably priced.  We had 40 people and had the entire place to ourselves...had it not been so nasty out we would have been able to use their courtyard as well.  I can't say enough good things about our experience...people are still talking about the food!

    My wedding will be at the private dining rooms of Spiaggia. We have about the same amount of people, and as long as your wedding isn't on a Saturday the F&B is reasonable.
