Grooms Cake

Hi ,

Here I am watching amazing wedding cakes again on my last day of vacation. Now, I am 100% sure that I want to do something really special for my FI, which would be a grooms cake. I am looking to do his favorite car which was also affirmed yesterday after attending the car show my father was in!

Does anyone know of any one locally that does signature cakes?? Or I am thinking I may have to go to NYC? Would love Charm City...but they are too expensive!

Try O'Heavenly cakes.  Jenn did beautiful work for Fi's retirement party last month.  She has a page on FB showing her work.  She's in Blauvelt (Rockland County).

Go to Lulu's in Scarsdale. They are amazing and make the coolest looking comic book themed cake for my hubby. Also, their cakes/pastries are delicious and the price was not too outrageous!

i ordered ours from sweet lisa's in greenwich. i usually go to lulu's but sweet lisa's had a canoli filling that FI just HAD to have (i vetoed him for it in the wedding cake, so i gave it to him for his cake). i'm having them do a yankee theme. the price was actually a little less than i thought it would be, which is awesome.

I second Lulu's in Scarsdale. Delicious, and looks amazing! Though I will say be prepared, the price may be a shock at first depending on what you go with.

I will say that Lulu's is doing my cake and we just went for a tasting last week.  It was all amazing and the pics of the other cakes were gorgeous!

If you go in there, you have to try their chocolate chip cookies...I don't think I have ever had anything so delectable!

I used Lulu's for my groom's cake.  It was a Yankee's themed cake.  Although it wasn't exactly what I had ordered, it tasted delicious and my DH loved it.  Just make sure you are very specific with what you want!
