Alayne White Spa - Bikini Wax But Use Glycolic Facial Stuff - Advice?

Hi ladies!
I just made an appointment for my first ever bikini wax at Alayne White Spa in Bristol, after many recommendations! I just saw on their website that they don't do waxes if you use glycolic acid based stuff. Does anyone know why? More importantly, is the potential reaction bad enough that I shouldn't do it?? I only use the glycolic acid on my face, though I understand it travels through your blood.

    You should call and ask the spa just to be safe. I always thought it was only pertaining to where you're being waxed (ie eyebrow wax if you use it on your face), but what do I know?

    Thanks for the advice! I called, and just FYI, you were right. It only pertains to where you're actually getting waxed. Good to know!
