I took my sister {maid of honor} and my bff {matron} along to go try on dresses. I have already pre-selected these dresses according to the style of my wedding just like any normal bride does. My bm's have already gone and tried on the dresses and they all LOVED them. My matron of honor is 4months prego and was able to try all the dresses on and looked FAB in them. My sister on the other hand couldn't b/c she is shorter and heavier so the sample sizes wouldn't fit her {zip} because she is heavier. So she gave me the "i like the dress and i will wear it" speech but then later on at dinner so said that she thinks i should let her try on other dresses b/c she can't appreciate how the dress I picked looked on her. I really wanted to say NEWSFLASH they don't carry plus size samples in the stores for bm's dresses so your never going to be happy. Instead I just ate my chicken and listened to her. What am I going to do? Everyone else loves the gowns {and not everyone is skinny i've got some thick women in my bp} UGHHHHHH i'm frustrated

Assuming that in your selection of the BM dresses, you took into consideration that you have some "thick chicks" in your bridal party....and you selected a dress or dresses that flatters most body types.... You are going to move forward with your selections if the majority of the party agrees to them. What you can do if you like is try to compromise with some of the larger ladies and accommodate them with a possible wrap or bolero jacket or some other possible option, but the dress choice remains.... Simple as that... It is what it is.... You are correct, in most cases, the in-store samples are never in plus sizes, so as a thick chick myself, we are rarely gonna be able to try on special occassion wear... RARELY... We just have to trust the bride, that she has chosen something with most body types in mind and go with the flow... I've had to do it on a number of occassions.....
Try not to stress it too too much... You can only do what you can do.. Like stated previously... Hopefully you've chosen a style that can and will flatter everyone once ordered in the correct size and altered appropriately....
I hope that helps you somewhat....

I do think!!!!... I like the watermelon color but I love the style of the off the shoulder with the flowers... (http://barijay.com/style.php?coll=barijay&showid=848) They look like they would be fine for those of us that have a little junk in the trunk... They are really pretty dresses!!!! I would work any of those. They're cute... so flirty and feminine...Great choices...
The dresses will be in Coral
