DH and I were talking about the future, raising kids, how we raised and the vast differences we'll face with all the social media, etc.
Eventually the conversation turned to how the hell we made it through our poor choices ok and how many sentences starting with "Thank God...." we could finish.
DH: "Thank god that girl's boyfriend never came upstairs while I was banging her during a party at his house"
I was all "O Rly?" until I thought back on my own college days and remembered:
"Thank god that girl from my dorm only called that guy she was dating to wish him good luck on his presentation rather than stopping by, seeing as how she left the bar early thinking he'd need to go to bed early....which he did, with me."
Morals...we didn't always have them.
