  It was an independent DJ through Gigmasters. He had really good reviews. I guess he just had something else come up. I hope I don't end up spending an arm and a leg for a replacement somewhere else.

  Oh my gosh!  That's absolutely ridiculous.  What does your contract say about if he cancels?  Make sure you get your deposit back cause that's unacceptable.

  We met with a couple last night who have been doing the DJ thing for about 15 years or so.  They were super nice.  They don't advertise, but get business by word of mouth - our venue highly recommended them.  They are pretty reasonably priced too.  If you'd like their number, send me a PM and I'll give it to you.

  I also know that Instant Request DJ is good too. They've done a few of my friend's weddings.
