Avoid Brindley Beach Rentals and the Grand Ritz Palm

We were married at the Grand Ritz Palm in September of this year. The house looks great in pictures, but dont be fooled. Nearly every room in the house has broken floor tiles. Many of the sliding doors dont lock, stucco is falling off the house, etc... The garages are full so you cannot park in them, and the golf cart is locked in the garage which they do not give you a key for. The house is wired for everything in the world but they have no one to explain anything to you. Pay someone $50 to greet guests and go through the house when your charging $15,000 per week. This house is rented from friday to friday and checkout is at 10 and checkin is 4. How can you possibly clean a house this size and make repairs in 6 hours? They simply skip cleaning and repairs because they are more interested in making money than putting forth a quality product. Their maintenance staff is always "unavailable" as is any manager at Brindley Beach Rentals. To charge the prices they charge for the product and level of service they provide is ridiculous. Just save the money and avoid the company and the venue. On a bright note Island Photography is fantastic, they were absolutely the best photographers we could have asked for.

i just went and looked up the house. The pictures make the house looks like something out of a movie. I am so sorry you had such a bad experience. I will be sure to avoid them!

this post and the complaints seem so shallow...what's the real deal...

Actually this post is nothing but sincere. Brindley Beach agreed to refund $1500 to us when we were at the venue, but as soon as we left North Carolina they stated that the person who made that offer was not authorized to do so. So "that" is what this is about. I will gladly provide documentation to anyone who would like it. I'm sure you are a brindley beach employee trying to cover for your company. When you pay that much money people are supposed to be attentive to you. When your motto is "service first, fun always" you dont expect to never have anyone available to speak to. Brindley Beach Rentals made all the promises in the world but once the wedding is over there are no do-overs. And once the date passed, they just ignored our complaints entirely. Anyone who has any questions please contact me and I will gladly explain what you can expect. It is not shallow to expect a higher level of service when your advertising makes it look like you are competent as a service company. Simply put avoid the headache, why deal with a company that simply doesnt care? In addition we booked the house for a wedding, and later had someone call in to book it for a "family reunion," they quoted us a price which was $2,000 higher for the wedding for the exact same date. Doesnt seem so honest.

I have been looking at that place, and was gonna book it for my wedding in 2012, THANKS SOOOO MUCH for posting what the real deal is, because I have vacationed down there with my family a few times to know well enough how it is, when the "heated pool" that you paid for, is NOT working and than you can not get anyone out to fix it until two days later, SO therefore 3 days with a cold pool, that was suppose to be heated, but it was a different home! So I can only imagine some of your wedding issues with the house, I am just glad I found out about that home now before putting down a deposit!   I just want a luxury home, that provides ACTUAL luxury ammenities and service! Its just hard to figure out which house is really great from a computer when you live out of state! but any way,
    thanks chic!
