I was pretty lucky to have such an awesome team of vendors!
Day of Coordinator: Infinite Events, AAndria and her team were fantastic to work with. She was very responsive and helpful. Even though we only hired her as a day of coordinator, she was very helpful throughout the planning process, answering questions and providing vendor recommendations when asked. The setup and breakdown of our event were seamless and my groom and I were given everything we needed or asked for almost immediately. Andria handled a situation between two of my vendors and I did not even know about it until after the fact. She even steamed my wedding dress for me. Her calm, pleasant, and very friendly demeanor was exactly what we needed on our wedding day.
Venue: Roger Williams Casino, A+The venue is gorgeous and Heather is extremely helpful, accomodating, and nice to work with. I found her personality very real and refreshing. Everything with the Casino was straightforward and there were no surprises at the end of the day. It was spotless on our wedding day and our guests were wowed by the beauty of the building and the grounds.
Caterer: Blackstone, A-The food and presentation were amazing and our guests raved about the food. The staff at our event were pleasant, professional, and efficient. Everything we had asked for was done and the food and bar service flowed seamlessly. My only issue was that during the planning process our coordinator at Blackstone became extremely busy and difficult to get ahold of. Even the week of my wedding, she was swamped with other weddings and was only available by email and not by phone. That being said, she did always reply to my emails and everything I asked for was done, but toward the endI felt a bit like I was bothering her when I was trying to finalize the details, which was not the feeling I wanted to have the week before my wedding.
Dress: Ana's Bridal, AI was hesitant to get my dress here when I read some of the reviews, but I had no issues at all with Ana or her staff. They were always pleasant to me and helpful in choosing my dress, which I absolutely loved. They have a great selection of dresses and they did an excellent job on my alterations, which were included with the price of my dress. Everything was done on time and they made me feel very pretty during my fittings, which was nice
. They also helped me in choosing my veil and jewelry even though I had brought them in from another store.
Transportation: Viking Tours of Newport, A+We hired a coach bus from them to shuttle our guests to and from the wedding and hotel. They arrived on time, made all promised trips, and Kirtley was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Mark and I took the bus home with our guests on the way back from the reception and it was comfortable, clean, and fun!
Transportation 2: Sentinel Limo, AI hired a sedan from them to take me and my MOH to the wedding venue from the hotel. They were on time and pleasant and the price was very reasonable. They were reliable and very quick to reply to email communications.
