Grand Velas- Riviera Maya

Has anyone been to the Grand Velas Riviera Maya resort? My fiance and I are trying to find a nice, all-inclusive honeymoon location in that area.

    I have never heard of anyone on here talk about that specific resort. But they have LOTS of other suggestions on nice lovely resorts to stay at that you may be interested in. I would ask what others suggest and go from there if no one answers on here.

    I actually wanted to go to Grand Velas for our one year anniversary but then discovered Paradisus La Perla.  Unlike Grand Velas, Paradisus is a relatively new resort (1.5 yrs) and the food, service and accomodations were awesome!!  I don't think you will go wrong with Velas (since it gets many great reviews) but I think Paradisus sometimes has better rates.
