Picture Perfect Portraits or AZAR - Reviews Please!

If you have worked with them please post your reviews and recommendations for them. If you have samples of any of your pics from them that would be great too! I've seen good reviews but hoping for some personal testimonies from the Columbus knotties.

    I used PPP for my wedding last September and they were great. I was lucky enough to find Shannon before she was very established so we got a great deal. I have some of the pics from my wedding uploaded to my knot bio. I've posted more on the columbus knottie fb page as well if you're on there.

    I would say only drawback to Shannon is that she doesn't give you a lot of direction as far as posing (unless you ask her to, though still pretty minimal). But if you know what you want, or you're looking for more photojournalism type photos (as i was) then it'll work.

    Thanks Brit....did you use the videography too with PPP?

    I guess I should have stated in my original post i'm torn between the two because PPP comes with videography and I would think that would make for a great chemistry. On the other hand Azar's work is AMAZING to me. I would then be looking at an outside videographer. They would probably work together fine. Thoughts anyone??

    PPP- the owner is a fellow Knottie. She is on the Facebook group. If you want a preview of her, you can sign up for the Boudoir session- it's $150 to $250 depending on the package you choose.
    That way you can get a feel for her. :)

    I did do videography with them as well. Shannon did a cute "music video" of all the highlights of our wedding set to music so we could see it soon after the wedding. The video itself took longer but turned out really well.  Obviously being a team, they work well together doing photog/video at the same time.

    I will tell you that I've noticed Shannon just keeps getting better as far as photography goes. I snagged her when she was new, and seeing the pics she does now and they're even more awesome (and mine I was totally happy with!), it makes me want to have her take our photos all over again haha.

    We are using PPP and so far they are amazing, we are doing the video and picture, they sold me on the video I was originally not going to do it but I decided that it was amazing and would love to have it.

    we looked at Azar and have a tough time deciding b/n them and another photographer. I loved Azar's work

    I booked AZAR and then my maid of honor booked him for her wedding too a week later. We haven't gotten engagement pics done yet and our wedding isn't until next August, but i've been really impressed with his pictures and how much he offers. He's a little quiet when you meet with him in person, but I think he likes to let the pictures (and slideshow of your photos set to music of your choice) do the talking. Good luck!

    We also booked with AZAR. His pictures are great! Have you met with him yet? Not sure if you know that he includes a highlight video of your day. I found another post on here and she shared their video. It was really nice :)

    We booked Azar! He is so nice and his pictures are awesome!!!! We have our engagement shoot soon and then our wedding is in February. I'll post a full review after the wedding, but so far so good!!!
