  My dress was a SM and was a slim line, similar to yours. I did not wear a slip or anything underneath it. I only wore panties b/c it has a built in corset and bra. I kinda wish I would of had cups sewn in, but as long as the corset was tight, I didn't seem to have too much of a problem with it.

  i would wear a slim slip like you already have. if you feel that it is too clingy, you could get a little light slip (silk, knee length) from a local department store.

  Mine was a MS dress, slim A-line/fit-n-flare, and I wore a slip with a couple layers of tulle from mid-thigh down and an overlay layer. It was just enough to give the dress some shape because I wanted fullness at the bottom and all the beading would have weighed it down (and that would have looked bad with my bubble bottom!) I would try on the dress with a couple different types of slips, if possible, and see if you like any options.

  Um I concur with MissOwl on Spanx. I took my mom shopping for understuffs for her MOB dress and they did WONDERS at keeping her dress up and shapping her up in all the right places. ALso, check out VS for some of their longline bras if you want that undergarment feeling. I also encourage the implantation of cups into the top so you don't have to wear a bra (FREEDOM!!!!).
