they did our wedding last summer (I thnk I was the only one on here) and there are a couple poeple (I know of one for sure) who will be using them this year.  My DH was SUPER picky and nervous because a lot of the DJs seemed... odd to us.  Bamboo Beats was exactly what we were looking for - a real DJ!  (In our minds, a real DJ has turntables and knows how to mix)  We got the package with all the lights and everything and we had people dancing all night long.  I love dancing and DH loves music so this was the most important thing for us.  Everything was amazing and I couldn't give them a better review.

I second Amanda.  They are fantastic and you won't regret going with them.  Not only is he a great DJ - but his wife helps out too.  They totally helped us keep to our timeline!  We also got the full package and loved it.  Getting them was a splurge for us - but we felt like it was a necessary splurge!!

I really liked these guys, but they were a little too pricey for me.  I ended up going with DJ Braden Landon, who was also super cool and (I didn't know this until the wedding day & was totally jazzed) he has turntables too!  Just something to consider, incase you need to trim the budget.

I can second Jennyann's DJ - he did a pretty doggone good job of mixing the music together and transitioning in between them.

I am using them in 3 weeks.  Can't wait based on all the reviews.  We met w/ several DJ's and they all seemed corny or didn't really know music/our style at all, just suggested standard wedding songs.  Bamboo beats was the coolest, most laid back and totally knew obscure songs/genres.  FI is really into music and is from DC, where "go go" music is from -- its a cross b/w hip hop, jazz, and raggae, sort of.  Anyways, no other DJ had ever heard of it.  But DJ Tecumseh (sp?) did and started listing artists and songs.  It was a done deal.  : )  We went over our budget too, but I think it'll be worth it.
