I'm going to Sandal Grande Ochos Rios in Jamaica.  We are going for six nights.  The first three nights, we are staying in a high end room with our own personal butler.  We get a swimming pool we share with three other rooms and a cottage looking out onto the ocean in the mountains.  We get a cell phone that connects to the butler and anywhere on the resort, we can call him and ask him to bring us drinks or whatever.  The second three days, we got for free because we won the grand prize at a bridal show plus free airfare.  So, we'll probably be staying in whatever the cheapest rooms there are.   The first three nights cost us about 1350 total (a little over four hundred a night plus tax).  All rooms at sandals include all you can drink any time you want it of cocktails, wine and beer plus they have eleven different full service restaurants to try with many different types of cuisine.  The beach and activities at it are free.  You can go scuba diving, snorkeling, rent a boat or a catamaran, a whole bunch of stuff for free.  Excursions are extra.  We also paid an extra 140 to have a private dinner on the beach where we design the four course menu and a private butler serves us with a table in the surf.

We went to New Zealand for two weeks, booked the trip through a travel agent (Uniquely New Zealand) who booked all of our hotel rooms and experiences for us, and it was around $5k for the entire trip, including airfare. We stayed at a lot of B&B's so breakfast was taken care of most days. We did a lot while we were there: visiting a Maori 'village', boat ride into a national park for some hiking, whale watching, winery tours, hiking on a glacier, boat tour through a fjord (Doubtful Sound), and a few other things. Those were all included in the cost of the package.

We are going to Cartagena, Colombia.  Our honeymoon is going to be pretty inexpensive as my parents have gifted us their airline miles and we are staying at a B & B that is about $50/night including breakfast which my parents may be gifting to us as well.  We are staying 6 nights and don't expect the rest of our expenses (meals, excursions, etc.) to cost more than $500.

We're going to St. Martin/St. Maarten (whichever side we're on, haha). Airfare for the two of us was just under $1K and we're budgeting around $2k for the entire week, including that. We got a sweet deal on the room, since his mom has a timeshare or something.

I am going on a cruise to the western Caribbean. It is only about $1,500 for the actual cruise and then we have to pay for excursions, souvenirs/shopping, and drinks. We did an inside room though, to have a cheap vacay. lol

we are going on a cruise to the bahamas (it stops in 2 locations). I have no idea how much FI spent haha, but I do know that he got an awesome deal (we are very frugal so I'm sure the price was very reasonable and he told me it was a good price) and we got a balcony room.

We went on a 7 night cruise which was gifted to us from my mom so I don't know how much it was but we spent about $2,500 on the cruise itself (excurions, lots of gambling, and tons of drinking lol).  So our honeymoon was probably around $5,000 im guessing.

DH and I went to Costa Rica for our HM. We stayed at Tabacon Resort in the Arenal Volcano area and we loved it. Flights were really cheap - $69 pp each way direct from Orlando to San Jose, I think, and the resort had a buy three nights get one free package, if I remember correctly. I'm not sure how much it cost since my in-laws gifted the airfare and hotel to us but we spent about $700 on food, spa treatments, and excursions while we were there. If I had to guess the whole trip probably cost around $2k, maybe $2500. There are pictures in my married bio if you're interested.

Theresa 626 - we just got back (like three days ago) from a random vacation to Sandals Grande Ochos Rios! We had the butler thing, too - PM me if you want some tips to help make your honeymoon go smoothly! Having a bulter was definitely helpful!

Right now we're thinking about doing a cruise from San Juan to the Southern Caribbean on Carnival (our favorite cruise line!).  I think it's about $2k for one of the six wraparound balconies? It should be 7 nights.  FI is a pilot, though, and I travel just about every week for work, so between the two of us we fly a LOT, therefore we're looking forward to a quick flight down to San Juan and then 7 days with no cell phone on a cruise!

Although, hearing about New Zealand, I might have have to make that a suggestion for honeymoon consideration!!  That sounds awesome!  I want to see pictures!

We are going to Aruba! The tickets were a steal! We got both of them for about 600 bucks. The rooms are pretty expensive but FI's uncle works for the Hyatt so we got the price reduced. I dont really know the whole amount but i'm guessing that including excursions, food, etc, honeymoon will probably be about 3-5K
