Looking For Boudoir Photoshoot Partners!

Hey!
I am hoping to do a boudoir photoshoot with Julia Vie from Viviansmuse.com at Saint Cecilia, but I know it will be more fun ( and cost effective) to have other girls shoot with me. It is in two weeks and her 30 min session starts at $99. I hope more girls will be interested as there will be wine and cheese and a make-up artist and I think it will be more fun the more girls show up!

Her event info can be found on her website: http://viviansmuse.com/index2.php#/info3/2/

I would be interested in Vivians muse depending on what the actual cost is and how many outfits we can get in there.  I just got her price list for that shoot though and it looked to me like the cheapest price was $195 for 60 minutes and 2 outfits.  That did include the hair and makeup, but it looked like she even charged for retouching per imagel?

I'm also in contact with someone in Houston who is doing a marathon session at the end of the month.  I liked her portfolio way better, but I haven't gotten prices yet.  I'll follow up when I hear back from her.  She also said if we got enough girls together in Austin she would schedule one.  Her website is: http://besaboudoir.com/index2.php#/home/

If you hear of anything else, feel free to email me at iheartkenya@gmail.com  :-)

Absolutely!  I am getting more excited about the possibility of taking some of these pics, so I hope something comes up that I can afford! :-)

Okay, I found some info on her blog about the Houston shoot.  It just says Packages start at $495 and will include hair and makeup artists, along with other goodies and discounts!!

So yeah... I can't afford that one!  Back to the drawing board!

ETA:  Just found this website with a whole list of boudior photogs in Austin...

    Hey Becca,
Her shoots start at $99 dollars including hair and make-up for the event. It will be at Saint Cecilia which is gorgeous and I believe it is a good price for the quality of work. You can get a session for 30 minutes for $99 and get a full CD for $150. I think that is affordable and worth the investment.
BTW...what didn't you like about her work?

What do you think of Vivian's Muse Work Richelle? She has one schedule for this Saturday, I think there are still spots open.

No offense, but you sound an awful lot like a vendor.  If that's the case, you should know vendors aren't allowed on here.  But before you go,  I will still give you my honest feedback about why I did not want to go with Vivian's Muse.

The marathon sessions that I have heard about on other boards have been on average, $200 and that included multiple outfits (some girls as many as 6), hair and makeup, wine and cheese, cd with completely retouched images (and lets face it... if I am strippin down to my skivvies, there are DEFINITELY going to be things I need retouched in every picture!) and one (her total price was $300) even included a $100 print credit that allowed her to get a leatherbound black book with prints of the images for her FI.

With Vivian's Muse it looks like $99 only gets you 30 minutes with one outfit, and then you have to pay for each image you want touched up, and then more if you actually want to get the images.  But even if you didn't get anything touched up, at minimum, it is $250 for a 30 min session with one outfit, and that is way overpriced to me, compared to the numerous other deals I have heard about in other areas.

If you actually are just a fellow-bride, then I hope if you go with them, you have a good experience!

I am not, and I did go with her and I loved my experience. I would post a few here, but I don't want to bother.
