band/dj help!!

So my favorite band is booked for my wedding day and I am soooo upset!! Now i have to find a band or dj(much prefer a band) to play.This is the one area which i was going to splurge on since the band i wanted is like 4000a night but now that i cant have them i am going to splurge on something else. Please help me find a band in NC that is good and can get people to have a good time!!

    We used Groovetown and were very happy with them. I'm not sure what their price range is now, but it's probably in the $4k range.

    We used The Plaids.  They were awesome.  You can book them through Schmoozen Entertainment.  They also represent a lot of bands in North Carolina.  I would recommend checking it out!  I have heard that Walrus is a really good band, too.

    Depending on the type of band you are looking for, we booked the Tsunami Wave Riders, who are out of Charlotte.  They are a tropical band, but do a lot of classic rock and other songs too.  I have enjoyed working with them so far and am so excited about having them.  I think you can get them for under 4k a night.  If you are able to put down 50% of total down as a deposit, they will take 20% off the total bill.
