I'm trying to help out a friend who is in the early stages of planning her wedding. They will have a tight budget so hoping you ladies could share your suggestions for some affordable yet good wedding vendors.
Venue - from Boston to Southern NH
Photographer
Videographer
Florist
and any other great suggestions to plan an affordable wedding!
When I planned my wedding that was three years ago this site helped me so very much. Thanks.

Re: Budget Brides - Suggestions
Also Indian Ridge in Andover had very good prices and if you had a certain amount of people there wasn't a room rental.
Black Swan in Georgetown was beautiful and had similar prices to Andover Country Club. Both had rental fees. I believe Black Swan had lower rentals.
Black Swan has AMAZING food from Keons.

Klee3 mentioned Tirrell Room in Quincy - I looked at that place and it was a great location at a decent price. (I ended up choosing Hyatt Harborside Hotel in East Boston because it overlooked the Boston harbor and I wanted my wedding outside on the water. They were expensive, but gave us a 10% discount for having a Friday evening wedding.)
We used:
Photographer: Erik Waddell from A Thousand Moments Photography. Our pictures came out great! He had posted the pictures online before we returned from our honeymoon and we got our wedding album within 3 months after. http://athousandmoments.com/(I paid about $2000 for package, and paid an extra $1000 to get most expensive wedding album because I liked all of the pictures so much.) (And I've also heard many great things about Vision Forever)
Videographer: WAVES Media in Salem NH. Great video at a great price! Dave is so great and will work with your budget. http://avwaves.com/ (I paid about $1100 which included coverage of ceremony & reception, HD resolution and blu-ray disc, and edited video.)
DJ: DJ Mike Janedy was amazing! We wanted a DJ who would take control of the flow of the reception without being center of attention. Mike did just that. He was better than we ever could have imagined. http://www.djmikejanedy.com/ (We paid $1200 for him to do ceremony and reception.)
Florist: Janitas Floral Design worked with my budget. She really was a perfectionist and kept my floral arrangements below $1000 (which included my bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 11 groomsmen boutinieres, 4 corsages, flowers on cake table, flower petals on the guest book table, and a toss bouquet). http://www.janitasfloraldesigns.com/
We also had our wedding on a Friday evening, so got a 10% discount from our venue and some of our vendors.
(If you'd like to see any of my photos, just let me know. And I'd be happy to talk in more detail about any of these, please let me know if you have any more questions.)
