Finally have the dress! Any advice on hair & accessory choices?

Here's the dress:

I wear a suit and a combed back ponytail everyday.  I can be a dash clueless when I need to dress outside of those parameters!

So, what would you do to complete this look in RL?

That dress is absolutely gorgeous.  I love the way it is styled in the photo.  I would do a similar clear, crystal drop earring and no necklace.  I also think a simple up do would look great with that dress. You don't want anything to compete with the detail on the bodice of the dress.

i agree - i'd take cues from the styling in the picture.  earrings, no necklace (although those earrings in the picture are a little long for me).  and i'd add fun shoes - either metalic or a fun color.

i like her wavy updo, if your hair will work that way.

What a fun dress!  To me I see that dress and think retro so I think something wavy like what's in the picture or old school hollywood glam would really complement the dress.

Love the dress.  I'd do small earings and no necklace.  Maybe a bridcage veil (I'm a bit partial to birdcage veils!).

I agree with everyone else.  Justin Alexander is one of the designer I love.  This is totally a modern take on retro 50's?  Never good with eras, but anyway, I think you should do either pincurl look or waves with some vintage earrings.  I like the idea of the birdcage veil

This dress is perfect! Keep it classic and not too many fussy accessories.

Oooh beautiful!  A vintage style ivory pearl choker with your hair up and with a pretty gold hairpin would be lovely!

Thanks ladies!  I was thinking waved retro hair, and a few jeweled pins.  Tried the birdcage look, and I'm still pondering it.  I was wearing multiple-strand pearl necklace when I tried it on, and thought that it looked chaotic, so I am happy to have other opinions on the matter.  Pearl choker is ok, simple drop earrings great, retro 50's glam hair.  Graci!

    I love that dress!

I would think a French twist or side ponytail would look nice, with a simple fascinator.  Definitely go easy with the earrings and no necklace.  The bodice is to die for.

I found great earrings and crystal headband on Etsy, so be sure to check there for accessories.

I would style with a pair of short gloves, no necklace and something blue dropped earrings.
For the hair I would do a wavy fake bob - if you have long hair.
