Venues, ideas, etc :)

Hey ladies! This is my first post, so bare with me! :)

I've just started looking into venues, and I'm not really sure what I want yet! We are on a lower budget (15,000??) but it is flexible, I don't want to cheap out on anything. We are thinking anywhere from 200-300 guests. Also concidering a November wedding, or a friday wedding to cut costs without cutting quality :)

Somewhere around the Andover/Elk River area would be cool since that is where we are from, but we are also looking into the cities.

Only place I am looking at seriously is Profile Event Center.. I like it, but I'm definately not set on it. We are touring on Saturday.

Let me know any suggestions on venues, budgeting, or anything you think I should know!!

Thanks,
Kristin

The Profile is AMAZING. I'm having my reception there in May in The Diamond Hall, and I'm sure several other ladies will chime in and sing its praises! Heather is amazing to work with, and the staff in general has been great. I don't think I've gone more than 2 hours without having an email answered! My parents went to the group tasting last month and said that the food was amazing, especially the prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes!

They're having another group tasting event on January 11th, which is awesome because they basically have their whole menu available so you can taste pretty much everything. They also set up a bunch of the tables with the different linens and decorations they have available, so I highly recommend going to that if you are still on the fence come January.

Good luck with your search, and if you do go with the Profile, you won't be disappointed! :)

My sister had her wedding at Profile very nice, hard to find parking tho.  Andover has a nice place, the courtyards of andover.  We are using Northfork which is in ramsey and there is also the foutians of ramsey.

<div>There is a parking ramp kitty corner to the PEC that is free for guests of the PEC, so parking is not an issue anymore. :)</div>
