1 week left and kind of freaking out...

So I came up to the area on Thursday and have totally been enjoying my time with family and friends! I went to my 2nd fitting on Friday and almost had a panic attack! The dress fit perfectly, however, it was so tight around my chest that it was making me bulge! It looked like my skin was just bulging around my dress! I was almost in tears! I am not overweight at all and I am very small (110 lbs 5'2") so I have no idea why it was doing this. The seamstress was very rude and basically told me there was nothing that could be done except loosen up the corset, which didn't really help.

I am so unhappy with how I look in the dress it is making me dread the wedding now. I don't want everyone to think I look fat and horrible in my dress. I just don't know how to get out of this rut...

I'm sure you looked beautiful in it!  I think every bride has a meltdown when it comes to how the dress looks close to the wedding.  Did you try changing your bra or corset if you're wearing one?  Many times things will fall into place if you take off the bra.  Whatever you do try to stop stressing.  You'll look amazing ;)

My best freinds wife had the same problem.  She was bulging A LOT.  She did workouts like upper body yoga, pushups etc.  You wont lose a ton of weight that your dress will be too big but at least it will start to kinda tighten up by the wedding.  By her wedding she was tight enough that just adjusting where the top was sitting it all flattened out.

Jillian Michaels 30 day shred might help too.  Just pick whichever phase you feel you can do and do it for the week.

If you have comcast where you are staying try some of the exercise tv things on demand.

Drink LOTS of water and try to stay away from lots of carbs.

First off, take a deep breath.  You're going to be fine.  Corset backs, when laced up tight, will make ANYONE bulge out over their dress, even people at their fittest.

Do you have the dress now?  See if you can get someone to help you practice lacing it up a few times to see if there are ways that downplay the "bulge."

At the very least, try not to stress out about it.  If worst comes to absolute worst, you can instruct your photographer to try to avoid shots that show that, and believe me - NOBODY is gong to say anything about it on your wedding day, I promise.

Relax, enjoy your week, and remember that the best day of your life so far is coming up this weekend and no matter what, it's going to be amazing!
