DIYing a Card Box

Hey ladies...My mom and I are creating our card box, and we've found the perfect boxes....we just aren't sure how to cover them.

For those of you who DIYed your card box, how did you cover the boxes or change them to be your colors? We were thinking paper, but I am not sure where to go to get paper large enough to cover the boxes (one is larger than the other as we are doing a tiered card box)....

Anyone who has any suggestions is aaaaamazing as I am clueless!

Thanks!

My mom covered all of the containers for my wedding. Pics in my For Sale page. She covered them all with white contact paper first so any patterns on the box wouldn't show through, then used fabric to cover them. If you do paper, you'd probably have to find some wrapping paper you like, which may prove challenging. If you want to go the fabric route and need some pointers, I can get my mom to e-mail me some instructions for how she did it, but the card box should be pretty easy, and just use hot glue to secure everything. You can hot glue a ribbon over the fabric edges on the inside of the box to make it look more finished, too. GL!
