    DJ, florist, Photographer and I have contacted Laurel Wiley and Fringe Hair Art and want to know if anyone has heard anything about them.  We are from NYC, don't know much about the area and would like to hear some recommandation.

    I am getting married in Kennebunport as well..
    I have yet to contact a florist, our venue recommended one that I am planning to reach out to. As for hair, I went with Hair that Moves and our Dj is a referral, he is from MA.  For photographer we chose Aja Stephans. She is mid priced and we really connected with her personality. Depending on your budget, I heard that Siman Entertainment is really good for a Dj. They were a bit higher than we were looking to pay and we decided to go with our referral. I talked with them on the phone and they were a pleasure to talk too. I can always send you the list of vendors that were referred to us from our venue..

    I am getting married in Kennebunkport and we also live in NYC.  Using both Laurel Wiley and Fringe Hair Art-pricey but worth it.  Florist will be Flora and Fauna-the owner is in NYC regularly so I am meeting with her here.    Photographer is Kim Chapman-she did my fiance's sister's wedding and it was beautiful.  As for a DJ we are using a live band-Flipside out of Boston.

    Slwager, thank you so much for the information.  I am using Laurel and Fringe Hair as well.  When are you having your wedding and where?
    Mine is on 9/17, at Nonantum Resort.
    I will definitely check out Flora and Fauna, since he/she will be in NYC often.

    I am working with Tim as well, he is responsive and excellent.  I emailed the florist, haven't heard from them yet.  And, i just finalized my appointment with Laurel.  Kim is booked, but she is referring me to someone else.  Thank you so mcuh for your help and good luck with your planning.

    Where are you all having your receptions? I grew up and Kennebunk and am just starting to plan. I wondered what you'd found. It seems a lot of them are very expensive!
