Shower help!

I am throwing a wedding shower here in a few months and am having troubles coming up with an idea. I am not a game fan!! But i think it would be fun to have some sort of activity to take up some of our time and provide entertainment. I had a cpl ideas of candy making, or having a wine expert come in but i dont think those are a good match for this. Can you think of a fun activity, maybe something that will teach everyone something new??

    I don' t think that's what the shower guests want to do.

    But what about teaching them new things about the couple?  The newlywed game just involves questions and answers about the couple - and that's why the shower guests are there.

    The only game I have ever enjoyed at a shower is one like Banana suggested where it's like trivia about the couple.

    Michaels actually has a "How Well Do You Know the Bride"? game. We played it at a couple of showers I've co-hosted recently and it was fun. At the last shower I did, my cohost came up with a fun celebrity game. She downloaded a bunch of celebrity brides, inked out their faces and we played a guessing game to figure out who the bride was. We also played a game similar to Scrabble, where each guest takes the letters from the bride and groom's names and come up with as many words as possible. It was a lot of fun. If you're looking for something interactive, you could set up a drink or dessert bar and each guest can make their own drink or dessert or something. That's not really a game but it would take up some time up during the shower and be kind of fun. Remember, though, the shower is about relaxing and having fun so don't stress too much!

    Thanks hlmauney! You were alot of help! I think i can def get the wheels turning or your drink or dessert concotion thing... That is just what i was trying to come up with :)
