alteration recs south subs

i bought my dress from eva's bridal in orland and intend on getting it out of that store the second it comes in. i've only heard horror stories and i'm terrified something will go wrong with my gown. anyone know of a local that can do alterations? my dress is pretty heavily beaded at the top so i need someone who really knows what they are doing.

tia!

Yes, PLEASE do not have your alterations there. I have found that out the hard way. Sorry I don't have any recommendations, but just thought I would confirm the other bad reviews.

I highly agree. A few years back, I was a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding and purchased my dress from there. It was supposed to be taken in a little bit, and shortened. When I tried it on after it was shortened, the hem was uneven and the top of the dress was taken in too much--I'm petite and I could barely breathe. Since it was too close to the wedding, I decided to have them fix the hem and didn't care about the top of the dress. Oh... and the day of the wedding, the dress started coming apart at the chest... THANK GOD one of the guests was a seamstress!
