Powder vs Foundation

I'm doing my own hair & make up for my wedding. Usually I use a pressed powder but I'm wondering if I should upgrade for my wedding. it's outdoors so i don't want anything too heavy but I'd like to get a nice coverage.

What do you use? I don't want to spend a lot of money in experimenting. Any suggestions??

    I'm using bareminerals for my make up.  I know it gets a bad rep sometimes for making you look 'shiny' or reflective or whatever but I had it on for my shower and it looked great and didn't look that way in pics at all.  It last through a really hot bridal shower and then to a baseball game and casino trip that night.

    I would wear a foundation with a loose setting powder. The foundation will give you great coverage while the setting powder should prevent you from getting shiny.
