I have been accepted to take a Deputy Sheriff's exam which is step 1 of 5 of the hiring process. If I pass the written exam then I move onto the physical exam that same day.

Their agility test (aka physical examp) is a little different than other departments here in MN and requires things I have never done before... (ie scaling a 5ft wall and hudlering a 4ft fence in Minnesota its basically sit ups, push ups and run 1.5 miles in X time) It is not until the end of the month but I start my new work out routine tonight. I am really excited because until now I had no employment prospects at H's new base.

I'm hoping it all works out! Otherwise its SAHW until I find something after I move.

    I'm a SAHW right now.. Except we don't have a home.. and he's in Japan. I don't think that really counts..

    If you count dogs I guess I could be a SAHM haha. :) and we don't have a house but I am excited for our apartment to be our home.

    I forgot to say Good Luck!!! You'll do great!!! Have you started running at all yet? I ran my last PRT with a 14:33 mile and a half... But then again.. I kind of hate to run!! And I'm totally curious about this wall thing. You'll have to let me know how that goes!!

    I run a couple times a week but only a 5k. It takes me around 30 mins, I also hate running. I see why some people like it but it is SUPER boring to me. I am a zumba, yoga, step, cycle class kind of girl :)

    Nope... I also have to jump/climb through a window 4 ft off the ground, another thing I don't have. Its suppose to simulate chasing a suspect. :) I'm pumped, I have chased suspects IRL so its nothing new, but most the time I just chase them around things.

    If I was a normal unprotected citizen I would be scared/nervous too. But I have some extra tools to help. :) Although H is not a fan of my work because its dangersous and he is the only one allowed to have a dangerous job, we are working on it lol
