Recommendations for Gown Cleaning and Preservation

I got married one month ago and I STILL have not even cleaned my gown! I would really love to preserve it as well. I checked out Davis Imperial and they start at $500! That is almost the cost of my dress! I understand if it's the quality that goes into it, but is that a very expensive price for cleaning/preservation?

Any recs?

    I took mine to davids bridal and because i  bought it there, it was 129 plus tax then i paid the 15 dollars extra to put the veil in the box too...
