Church Wedding

Does anyone know of any churches in York (preferably outside the city but still close) that I can have our ceremony at? Our reception is going to be at the York Heritage Trust Historical Society Museum on Market St. and I'm looking for a church who is open to hosting our ceremony even though we're not members. We do go to a church in Lancaster but they want $1000 to do the ceremony there and you're not allowed to live together before you get married (which we are planning on doing). Not to mention it would probably take at least 45 minutes to an hour to get from there to the reception site.

We both understand that there will probably be a fee, and that we'll probably have to go through some sort of pre-marital counseling which we're both fine with. I'm just trying to get some ideas so I can start investigating.

Oh...we're Christian so anything Brethren, Presbyterian, Lutheran, etc. is preferable over Catholic churches.

Thanks for the help Ladies!

There are two churches right down the road and the one has a neat courtyard, but I'm not at all sure of the denominations or restrictions.  Might be a good idea to try google maps and select churches to see what's around the area. :)

Like PP said, there's a couple churches SUPER close to YHT. The closest one is First Presbyterian Church. Its litterally a block down the street from YHT. I have no idea what their requirements are though.

The Trinity Church in Mount Joy is beautiful inside. I am not sure if they have any specific rules but they seemed pretty laid back when I went there for 2 weddings. Not to meantion they are across the street from me. I have the view of the beautiful bell tower from my bedroom.
