    well said rosmery. You must have sent your wisdom thru the computer and into the brain of my FI. Cause as I was explaining to my FI about the cake people ( cake people hahaha) and the edda's when i called the girl on the phone was like whatever, which to me meant "I DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS"  and when i called edible creations, the guy seriously bent over backwards to get me an appt for a tasting. So back to your vibes send directly to my FI's brain, as i was telling him this he was like so why even bother with edda's, cake is cake, i dont want to stress about some B&*%$ who could careless about us. NICE RIGHT

    Beth.. exactly.. why bother witha vendor who is unresponsive.. trust your gut. If you are second guessing them or yourself for picking them... CHANGE if you can.

    Beth, that's awesome and so true! Cake is cake and when someone is so helpful, you know that they will do everything to help you.

    I second this.  My general feeling is that if a vendor can't be responsive from the beginning (when I'm basically just approaching them saying HI I HAVE MONEY AND I WANT TO GIVE IT TO YOU), then they're not going to be responsive when I might actually need something.

    Well our cake appt is tuesday the 30th so if FI likes it then I will just cancel at edda's. which isnt untill 12/11..

    I love these tidbits.  I agree with your FI, screw Edda's LOL They need to bend over backwards everytime someone calls.  I think they're too busy lately and can't handle the stress.

    Sometimes my gut and my fi's gut don't cooperate...

    Truthfully, I think he would just trust my gut, except he thinks it's funny when I scrunch up my face when he says that he doesn't like what I've chosen.
