I am new here and just became engaged yesterday!!! OMG, I'm just still in such a state of disbelief, all I can find myself doing is staring at my ring and pinching myself! LOL It was a totally wonderful surprise
I said "fiance" today for the first time and I've been grinning like the Cheshire Cat and giggling like a fool all day. Its like new romance butterflies all over again, but this feeling is so much better. I won't ever forget how I feel right now. Ever.
A little bit about us - DF and I have been together for 3 years and have a 21 month old son. We plan to get married in a simple traditional Hawaiian ceremony on our actual anniversary of 12/31/12, with our big wedding & reception (actually vow renewal) back on the Mainland NYE 2014. We still have some big details to iron out, but that's our hope anyways.
