High updos for fine hair?

I have extremely straight blonde hair. There's a lot of it, but it's very fine and doesn't hold curl well at all. Suggestions for a high updo style that might look good?

    high updos are kinda a thing of the past, unless it is a contemporary twist on a classic style. I'd be open for suggestions from your hair stylist. He/She might know a way to make your hair type look it's best and still fabulous.

    I have very fine hair as well,  When I curl it, the curls usually fall apart early, even when I try to use various products to hold it together.

    My stylist, however, is aware of that.  We recently did a "practice run" for the hairstyle I'd like for my wedding (low, up, with curls), and he knew which super-strong products would hold things in place.  It worked, too -- it was done in the morning and lasted all day.

    So maybe trust in your stylist and discuss it with him/her?  They might know the right products and such.  If they do it right, you should be able to do just about any style you want, IMO.
