Another dress fitting?

Hello ladies! I need some advice. I'm getting married on June 24 and have already had my dress altered. Do I need to have another fitting closer to my date? TIA!

I'm having 2 fittings myself; the first is in April and the last is one week before the wedding. I'm just worried I might lose weight or gain weight so one week before is just giving me a little more confidence.

Can't tell you what the "norm" is though but I would definitely recommend getting another closer to the wedding. Did you have to get any alterations done?

So far I've had one fitting to take care of the hem. My next dress fitting is April 2, this one will take care of the bodice. My last dress fitting will be about 1 month for the wedding to take care of the bustle and make sure everything else still fits properly. I would just put the dress on about a month before the wedding to make sure it still fits okay.

I haven't scheduled mine yet but I plan on doing one in April and then one about 2 weeks before I leave for holidays (3 weeks before wedding).

I had my final fitting last Monday. My first one they went over alterations bustle and cups sewn in then my second I tried it on and it was pressed and everything so I took it home

I think it depends on what you need done and when you schedule them. I haven't had any fittings yet but I'll probably have at least 2. One will be to do the bustle and pull in the top. The other will be closer to the wedding to make sure everything is good and do any touch ups to make it fit like a glove.

I tried mine on when it came in last week. Besides the top not zipping the last couple of inches the rest of it fits very well. Because of the fabric the length was custom made. I may need to take in the sides a bit, but besides that I won't need anything done. My bridal shop told me to come back in May to reassess whether or not my dress fits or if we have to do some work to it. I'm sure it will fit by then. My wedding isn't until June 30th though.

I'm going to have at least 2 fittings, hopefully 3 because I want to have my dress taken in each time

My wedding is June 29 and my first fitting is April 28; probably the second will be end of May.

They did all my alterations at once. They hemmed it, did the bustle, and moved a panel in the back. I just didn't know if I should do another one since I had everything done so early. Maybe I could just try it on at home and see if it still fits well.

I had my first fitting a few weeks ago, I have a second one in April. I will schedule a third closer to the actual date.

I am starting my fittings next month. My seamstress said it will be about 3 fittings total. The last fitting will be a couple weeks before the wedding and then the Wednesday before the wedding she will press and steam my dress and deliver it to my parents house to ensure it doesnt re-wrinkle (I didnt want it sitting in a bag for months after being pressed and steamed since it will wrinkle).

It just depends. Do you have your dress in your possession now? If so, I would try it on 3 weeks out and see what you think. I'll have 3 fittings before the wedding; a first one to get things figured out, another closer to bridals to make sure everything's good to go and then a final one about 2 weeks before the wedding for any final adjustments.
