It's that time of year

The time of year that you get sick. I don't know if it's allergies, newlywed life (and responsibilities of having my own house), or I'm actually getting sick. Either one I don't feel too well. Anyone else in the same boat?

::raises hand:: This is my second round with this garbage. It's zero fun. I have no energy and feel like I could go to sleep any minute....

One of the many reasons I love that we moved to the south. When we lived in Connecticut, everyone and everybody was always sick as soon as the weather started getting cold. It was awful... it's because everyone's cooped up inside for all those months with no ventilation and everyone's immune systems are down from the freezing temps outside.

Ever since we moved other than my bout with labyrinthitis (which isn't contagious) last year, we have been healthy. We didn't catch a single cold or flu bug last winter which has never happened. We plan on getting flu shots (which really help) to prepare for going home for Christmas.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, hope you feel better soon ;0)

I'm ok for now, but DH has been sick since Saturday.  This is the second time he's gotten sick in the past month.  Last time I had it too - hopefully he doesn't give this one too me.  Eventually he'll build up an immunity to all this stuff - he's a pediatrician, so he's around sick kids all the time.

I woke up with sneezes all this morning but they seem to have gone away now that I'm at school.  Perhaps it is time to vacuum my house.

Also, I am shedding an enormous amount of hair from my head these days - not sure if it is because my hair is long from the wedding or I am shedding my coat for the winter, but it is kind of excessive.

Feel better everyone!!!! I used to NEVER get sick, but I just started teaching Kindergarten and now it seems as if I'm always sick. During the month of September there was a grand total of 10 days where I wasn't sick. I had two different strains of cold and lost my voice twice! No fun! Hopefully my immunity begins to build up and the kiddos don't keep getting me sick!

Yep, I had a bad cold Thursday and Friday and partly throughout the weekend, but I'm feeling better now. Being a teacher around sick kids doesn't help either. I have a HUGE bottle of hand sanitizer in my classroom that kids are required to use if they ever sneeze. Haha, crazy I know, but we don't want the germs!

Yep. Allergies here. And I forgot to take Zyrtec yesterday, so I'm suffering more than usual. :P Plus it keeps raining, which always makes me more sniffly.

FI and I are both OK right now, but I think that's because we're on the Gulf Coast and the seasons tend to change later in the year here than for other places due to the insulation of the Gulf of Mexico. But I do tend to get a sinus infection every year around April/May and again around October/November.  FI has terrible allergies and is stuffy and snotty all winter and spring.  I am reaaalllyy hoping that we will both be OK for the wedding!
