I am hoping that someone might have some experience with having a wedding ceremony in a Vancouver Park (Queen Elizabeth Park to be specific). I am looking into getting a permit but don't really like how much they cost when we only plan on a 15 minute ceremony with 35 people. I'm also not liking how we can only have 10 chairs. Does anyone know if a permit is really needed? What would they do if we didn't have a permit? Is there anything that we can do to allow more chairs?
