Laser engraving?

Someone on here mentioned that they got their wedding date engraved on the outside of their ring in roman numerals by a laser engraver. My fiance and I really like this idea and were thinking of doing the same thing. Does anyone know of a place in NNJ that does laser engraving?

Oh me!  The only thing is I don't know if you already bought your wedding bands.  We ordered FI's from Tungsten Direct  http://www.infinitytungsten.com/ and they have  sale going on now!  I don't know if an actual place in NJ that does it, we looked everywhere and no jeweler was able to do this for us.

When we ordered from the website they ship the ring to you first so you can make sure it fits and that you like it.  You then ship the ring back to them with an Engraving sheet (listed on the website) and I wrote specific instructions to them and highlighted the word "OUTSIDE ENGRAVING" just to make sure it wasn't overlooked.  It took about 2.5 weeks for them to send it back.  We love it!

Let me know if you have any other questions!

One small note on laser engraving:
I  think it looks fantastic! Just please keep in mind that as time wears on, you will definitely have to have it redone over the years. It just depends on the depth of the engraving. This won't start to show for quite a while, but just something to keep in mind so you can also find a jeweler that you like that does it, This way, when the time comes you have someone :o)

Melee on rings is also something that will absolutely wear away over the years and will have to be touched up.
    Hope this helps a little!!

I don't the rubbing/wearing off thing applies to the Tungsten Rings.  FI and I did some research on it and Tungsten is a very hard metal.

It will not wear down on TC, which is what is shown in the photo. Gold or any other precious metal will need to be touched up over time, but a jeweler that does hand engraving will be able to do that. The only laser engraver that I know of is in Southern CT.
